We are very excited to present our latest project, a custom website for Accuratesource!
Accurate Source, Inc. is a wholesale court record research and retrieval service for businesses, corporations, and law firms. Incorporated over 20 years ago, they have grown to now have over 400 employees throughout all 58 counties in the state of California having retrieved over 30 million court records. They are the leading court record research and retireval company in the state of California, with custom XML interface technology, affordable prices, and the value that people should look for a company, and find a partner.
Project & Team Introduction
Our UX-UI Design Team managed this project, in collaboration with the Development, Content Strategy, and Social Media & Marketing teams to emphasize a multi-faceted and collaborative approach to make our clients dreams a reality.
The Challenge
In every project, there are challenges and complications that a team must work to overcome, and this task was not exempt. The main hurdles we met throughout the process were building a live chatbot that was data-driven and customer engaging, creating a database for the interactive map feature to accomodate live updates, and creating focal points around the login button to emphasize the call-to-action.
Project Objective
This project involved multiple project objectives requiring a multi-department effort and approach, including:
- Custom Website Redesign, meant to modernize and optimize previous web platform
- Complete content overhaul and visual content creation
- Customer interactive features, including live chat feature and interactive California counties map concerning order turnarounds
- Rebranding the user experience to supplement their custom XML interface backend technology
- From-scratch LinkedIn branding and content management & creation
UX Content Strategy
Before starting with stakeholder interviews and user research, our in-house content strategist completed a complete and comprehensive content audit through Figma of all existing content on the previous website that detailed the content that was and was not serving their brand.
Information Architecture Sitemap
Similar to the user flow, the priority is designing the sitemap is simplicity and clarity meant to direct visitors to the login/sign up button. We wanted to ensure that the information architecture supported ample amounts of informative visual and written content to create a seamless and enjoyable user experience.

When it came to determining the style board, the UX Design team debated between several variations and combinations of palettes centralized around their iconic blue, eventually choosing this pallete of modern and simple blue tones. The illustrations seen above can be found on their service page as part of an infographic created by the design team to summarize the process that Accurate Source built from scratch.
Additional and Interactive Features
Interactive Map
The plugin our Design team utilized for the map is Interactive Geo Map as it allows heavy customizations for visual elements and code and allows the client to make live updates through Google Suite using their pro feature. Our designers were able to fully customize the map in terms of functionality and aesthetic, and create custom code to associate each county to a specific page ID to allow for pop-up display. In integrating into the website, the design team placed a search filter into the navigation bar so visitors has easy access to the map at any time. The interactive map feature on this scale is unique to Accurate Source compared to competitors, and sets them apart as the most reliable service provider in their industry.
